Kentastic Science and Education Projects: 

I have spent my career advocating for project-based learning in science and STEM.  I have collaborated, created, used, and assessed Engineering Design and NGSS.  I have led workshops designed to create and empower the next generation of school leaders in Engineering Design.

I have also had the joy and honor of being a part of or leading several projects.  Many of these had some grant support from one source or another.

Engineer​ing Design

I lead leadership empowering workshops in Engineering Design/NGSS.  I am doing research and evaluation of barriers and solutions with Engineering Design  AEA 2014, NSTA 2015

Wetland Study​

 

I initiated a student-led, longitudinal study of a local wetland- that eventually led to a partnership with the Village.

MWM, Northwestern​

 

I am a team member, author, collaborator, workshop leader, and advocate for these amazing innovative modules.

I helped to begin and was part of two award-winning teams of teachers: "Connections" and "Chemistry of Foods"
